I used to love coming here, but this place has really gone down the hill under the new ownership. The wi-fi barely works now, and is mostly non-functional. It's too slow for basic browsing and email on most days, which was the primary reason I used to come, and I know many come there for that as well (or used to), as there really is not many other wi-fi cafe options in Mt. Shasta. The food seems substantially worse, the staff seem kind of irritable and aloof.. and on top of this they decided to move the community poster board to right in front of the entry way... which is some of the most terrible feng shui I have ever experienced in a cafe. If you want to stop to try to read the board and see what's happening in the community you will not have long as someone is trying to come in or out of the door. And if you are coming in or out of the door there may be someone standing there blocking the door trying to read the board, so you have to awkwardly try to plow through or skirt around them. I'm sad, as I used to love coming here. It's just gotten too terrible ,and especially the wi-fi just being not workable. You are better and it's fast to just tether from a smart phone now.

Very cute and friendly place! The coffee in the lobby to fill your own cup was barely warm though, that's my only complaint

Enjoyed our bagel and banana bread but our two americanos not so much, watery.

Good food, friendly staff. Loved it!

Stopped in to mount Shasta to catch up with an old friend, she suggested Wassayaks. Without a doubt, the best mocha I've ever had! Got the mocha swirl, a combo of dark & white chocolate. Discovered upon complimenting said mocha that they make their own dark chocolate, and roast their own coffee beans! I've quite thoroughly spoiled my coffee taste buds when i switched to a French press at home, this is the first coffee I've had out that i enjoyed more than my own mocha at home. My husband & son got bagels, which were baked fresh! They loved them! Would strongly recommend Wassayaks!
