The food was ok. Our server was a bit slow, but very nice and attentive. The ambiance of the place was lacking. It felt like a cross between a mid priced hotel breakfast buffet and a college cafeteria. Also, there wasn't a single seat that didn't have a view of a large screen TV showing sports related news.
The food is pretty good but a bit expensive for what you get which is, in my opinion, a bit plain.
Food & atmosphere were excellent. The issue I had was when reviewing my debit expenses from Western journey, I was charged higher amount than what I’d wrote on receipts; this should NEVER happen. I tipped well!
Cooper's, the restaurant at the Tree House Best Western Motel, is a friendly place to gather and eat. We especially enjoy the back lounge area with big screen TV's where they're happy to tune to a sports event for us. Their "burger-fries-beer" bar special is a classic...especially with sweet potato fries and a local microbrew draft (chicken burger and veggie burger options available). The house special "French onion soup" is quite good. Free wifi too, which makes Cooper's a pleasant meeting spot for business lunches.
