The cabins were much nicer than I anticipated. Would stay here again. The walking trail nearby was nice. The only downside was that you couldn't walk the golf course. Only golfers allowed.
Room was clean, spacious and worth certainly more than what we paid.
An amazing place. Very very beautiful. Deers walk around.
Absolutely wonderful. Sitting on the back patio early in the morn bats came in...very cool.
Just spent our 22nd Anniversary at Mt Shasta Resort and i must say it's the first time my husband and I left a getaway with bad memories. We didn't get checked in until 5:15, tired and hungry as we were planning on a nice romantic dinner. Had to change dinner reservations 3 times to accommodate their checking us in late..."room not ready"..chek in time is 4pm. Staff kept sending us upstairs for drinks to wait. Manager left knowing this. Had 15 minutes to sit in front of lake and toast to our Anniversary...holding it all together emotionally. Then rushed to get ready for dinner. Our 1st anniversary dinner that wasn't romantic due to the way we were treated. It ruined our Anniversary. The bad thing about this besides our bad memories is that we got a gift card from our daughter for a getaway here for Christmas and decided to use it for our special day and I had to tell her. It was a nightmare. Food, waiter and bartender was great....stay was short and sour. Will NEVER go there again. Dang...its still on my mind. I blame this all on the manager...shame on you.
Rebecca and the staff were all professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and more than met our expectations for my daughter's wedding this past weekend. The chef is exceptional and every meal we ate was a delicious treat. We enjoyed the chalet with it's comfy bed, Jacuzzi tub, and view of Lake Siskiyou out the back door. I would highly recommend the Resort as a wedding venue or vacation spot. And, you have to see it for yourself, as Mt. Shasta is a stunning backdrop during every season.
