I felt like I was visiting an old friend ! The owner Peter knows how to make you feel right at home. You can taste the passion in his food! All fresh , organic , large portions and vegan options available. I will be back many times. The best Indian food you will ever have. Thank you for a wonderful , delicious, nourishing experience.
Very good!! Was in Shasta for work and this place is a great find!! Food is just as good as Indian food in the Bay, the owner (who is amazing and so nice) actually recently moved up to Mount Shasta from the South Bay where he had a restaurant in Saratoga. And he is health conscious too (uses good olive oil for cooking and has great veggie options)!! 10/10 and will definitely come back my next time passing through
Delicious, unique food... Much more authentic and perhaps regional in flavor than other Indian places I have been. The owner greeted, cooked, and served us in person. He offered us more food at no cost to make sure we were not hungry. They use a lot of organic vegetables and the meal was delicious and healthy... A great find for vegans like us.
I had such a wonderful time. The workers and Peter were excellent to me! There's local art on the walls that represents Mt. Shasta and spirituality that I Loved! I met some amazing people really quick in the restaurant and this made my experience even better! Loved Peters chill vibe and down to earth attitude , he was so caring and accommodating to all. The food was EXCELLENT AND SO FRESH!!! I WOULD EAT HERE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT
We had come prepared for some ready to eat Indian food from Bay Area to spend the long weekend here in Mt Shasta. We wanted to keep the Indian taste buds alive during our vacation. However, we were all pleasantly surprised at the amazing home food like taste in this restaurant. I don’t think I would even open those ready to eat food I had brought.
Usually in most restaurants, there would be one or few dishes that would highlight the cook’s hallmark. But for the first time, I found a restaurant having almost all the dishes as highlights and specials. They were all delicious and fresh.
Finally, I would specially mention the warm hospitality and friendly nature of the owner. God bless!
