A friend and I stayed here one night before climbing Mt Shasta. The room is not particularly large, but it was comfortable enough. The bathroom is small, but nice. The showerhead might be a little short for tall people. The rooms have fridge and microwave, as well as free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, which is nice.
The rooms were clean, and the Inn was easy to find. There were not a lot of restaurants nearby, but I was able to find one to walk to. The beds where fairly comfortable, and the staff was friendly.
I always stay at Cold Creek Inn when I visit Mt Shasta. The rooms are simply furnished but homey, with super comfortable beds & warm fluffy quilts. Being health conscious, I appreciate their use of non toxic cleaning & laundry products--they use vinegar to clean the rooms & mop the uncarpeted floors! You can even ask to be provided with a set of sheets & towels they set aside for the super sensitive (like me) which are chlorine free (if needed, they use it occasionally). The staff is very friendly and helpful. And it's great to stay where you can walk to town. Thank you Cold Creek Inn--you are a rare gem in the hospitality world.
Super helpful and friendly office staff. Room small but has everything and delightfully clean. Highly recommend staying here, we certainly will again.
Quaint place, very friendly staff and nice clean room. As far as motels go this place has zero creeper factor and a nice welcoming vibe.
